Earth-based structures workshop
The workshop is dedicated to studying the qualities of soil as a building material. Field tests will be conducted on various soil samples collected in Lviv and their qualities will be compared. Several elements will also be made using different earth construction technologies. These elements will later be used to create a table in the exhibition space. Rebuilding a place to call home: recovery towards net zero
Anna Pomazanna and Mykhailo Shevchenko presented the Grunt project as part of the track 2 (re)construction industry, technologies, and processes of the Rebuilding a place to call home symposium. The track is dedicated to the issue of reducing carbon emissions in the process of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. The track curators are Jamie Woods and Mykhailo Shevchenko.

Grunt. Contaminated soil as a material for reconstruction
The exhibition tells the story of almost a year of our work with soils from the Kharkiv and Lviv regions as a potential material for sustainable construction. The research focuses on military contamination and the possibilities of using contaminated material in architectural structures.
