Our materials became part of the Ukrainian booth at the New European Bauhaus festival.
СEBs from the “Grunt” project became part of Circular Lab Ukraine — a booth featuring innovative circular solutions for Ukraine’s reconstruction, created by the ReThink team for participation in the New European Bauhaus festival.The booth showcases 13 products from various Ukrainian manufacturers — biobased, recycled materials, reused debris, and modular construction projects. Grunt is an @experimentalfoundation Fellowship project.

Focus Phase Zero — Regenerative Future Practices
A focus session featuring Materia Lab and Baukreisel. The session explores the possibility of implementing regenerative practices in various contexts as a key component of shaping a sustainable future. The session emphasizes the comprehensive nature of implementation—the system of measures and aspects necessary at the initial stage of work. Earth-based structures workshop
The workshop is dedicated to studying the qualities of soil as a building material. Field tests will be conducted on various soil samples collected in Lviv and their qualities will be compared. Several elements will also be made using different earth construction technologies. These elements will later be used to create a table in the exhibition space. Rebuilding a place to call home: recovery towards net zero
Anna Pomazanna and Mykhailo Shevchenko presented the Grunt project as part of the track 2 (re)construction industry, technologies, and processes of the Rebuilding a place to call home symposium. The track is dedicated to the issue of reducing carbon emissions in the process of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. The track curators are Jamie Woods and Mykhailo Shevchenko.

Grunt. Contaminated soil as a material for reconstruction
The exhibition tells the story of almost a year of our work with soils from the Kharkiv and Lviv regions as a potential material for sustainable construction. The research focuses on military contamination and the possibilities of using contaminated material in architectural structures. On earth construction
